The Russell Health Shuttle provides transport to health-related appointments in Russell, Whangarei and the Bay of Islands. It's a free service, funded by the Russell Op Shop and run by St John volunteers. A koha is appreciated to help cover operating costs.

Our town's AMAZING op shop is wo-manned by approx 30 dedicated volunteers overseen by Anne-Marie Kemp-Scott, Store Manager. Proceeds are distributed to such recipients as the Russell Ambulance service, our two health shuttles, mammograms for over-70s, first aid courses, various health support groups, the food bank, and more. The op shop is a vital establishment in the community.
